This is one I can't believe I haven't stumbled upon already, but it's http://storyfix.com/. It's written by Larry Brooks, who has a number of published resources on getting other authors, well, published.
Check it out. It even has a post (from Oct. 26, I believe) that is a decent read on making the National Novel Writing Month a more rewarding process. Enjoy.
